Material

The material is the whole point.

It’s the same light, quilted fabric as the Woobie Blanket, cut into a full-zip jacket. Tap one to see it up close.

The same fabric runs through the Jacket and the Blanket, so each feature gets the clearest photo we have of it.

Water beads and rolls off

Drizzle sits on the surface instead of soaking in, and the shell dries quickly afterwards. It’s not a raincoat, and doesn’t pretend to be.

Check it: splash a little water on the sleeve.

Rip-stop shell + quilted insulation

The weave and the quilting, up close

The little squares in the shell are the rip-stop. The stitched quilting keeps the insulation spread evenly.

Check it: look closely at the shell in daylight.

Packs small

The Woobie Blanket · Ranger Green

Lightweight + packable

Packs small

That’s a whole Woobie Blanket rolled into its stuff sack. Your jacket is made of the same material, so it squashes down small too.

Check it: roll it up and stuff it in a backpack.

Where it started

woo·bie/ˈwo͝o-bē/noun

The light, quilted blanket that goes everywhere with you, and somehow never gets lent out.

It started with a poncho liner.

Ask anyone who’s had one. The poncho liner, the original woobie, is the light, quilted, ridiculously warm layer nobody wants to hand back. We took that idea and made something you can wear all day.

“If you were in the military, you know just how important the woobie is to have in the field. With this, now you can wear it around all day.”

Wrong size? Exchanges are free for 30 days, and so are returns.

How does it fit?

Roomy and easy to layer. If you’re between sizes, size down: Christopher (5′10″, 200 lbs) wears a Medium and says “the sizing was true.”
Still unsure? Exchanges are free for 30 days.

See the size chart

Is it waterproof?

No. It’s water-resistant. The rip-stop shell has a DWR (durable water-repellent) finish, so light rain beads up and rolls off, and the shell dries quickly. It isn’t a raincoat, so in a real downpour put a rain shell over it.

Is it the same material as the Woobie Blanket?

Yes. Rip-stop nylon shell, 100% polyester active insulation and a DWR finish: the same lightweight insulating material as the Woobie Blanket.

How warm is it?

Warmer than it looks. The 100% polyester active insulation gives you real warmth without bulk. Wear it on its own on a chilly day, or as a mid-layer when it’s properly cold. One reviewer, Ocampo, said it “kept me warm and cozy in 39 degree weather with 15mph winds.”

How do I wash it?

Follow the care label sewn inside. One reviewer’s tip: “def need to wash once to get the softness of your woobie that you are used to.”

What if it doesn’t fit?

Returns and exchanges are free for 30 days. Wrong size? Swap it.
